Gondia_-, Manoharbhai Patel Military School brought the essence of cultural diversity and rich heritage of the country. The program was initiated with the brilliant March Past which shows the immense discipline and co – operation. The program was commenced with the lightning of the ceremonial lamp. The choir presented a welcome song.
The panel of dignitaries consisted Hon. Mr. Harish Baijal, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Mumbai, Mr. Rajendra Jain, Secretary of Gondia Education Society, Dr. Rajani Chaturvedi, Principal, N.M.D. College, Gondia and Dr. Mrs. Harsha Kantode, Principal Homeopathic College, Gondia. The program was inaugurated by the Hon. Mr. Harish Baijal, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Mumbai.
The school principal Mrs. Rupa Mishra presented the annual report and highlighted the achievements of the cadets. The secretary of Gondia Education Society Mr. Rajendraji Jain shared his vision for the institution.
Mr. Harish Baijal, the inaugurator of the program, encouraged the cadets with his warm and motivating words. He also addressed to parents and emphasized on their role in the development of their children. He appealed parents to wear helmet and to follow traffic rules while driving two wheeler. He also gave stress on teachers role in Nation’s Development. Mr. Harish Baijal is also known as the Cyclist. He started various events regarding cycling in the various part of Maharashtra so that he appealed all to use cycle and emphasized on cycling. He mentioned various benefits of cycling. He said that you can save environment and cycling keeps you mentally and physically fit. The audience were enchanted with his inspirational words. After the speeches principal of the school presented Memento as a token of appreciation to all the guests.
The afternoon was made more colorful with cultural program where the cadets presented riveting performances. The Drama with a social message stole the show. Folk and Bollywood dances presented by the cadets received a huge applause. Ex-students of school also shared the stage and enjoyed lot. The program was concluded with vote of thanks by Academic Under Officer Mast. Samarth Hazari and National Anthem.
