Deputy Chief Minister and other 35 Ministers took the oath in presence of Governor

Mumbai, 30.Dec.19: The oath-taking ceremony of the members of the state cabinet was held in the courtyard of the Legislative Assembly here today. Governor Bhagat Singh Koshari gave the oath to Ajit Pawar as deputy chief minister and 25 members as cabinet ministers and 10 members of the assembly as state minister. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray along with the Speaker of the Legislative Council Ramraje Naik Nimbalkar, Assembly Speaker Nana Patole and other members of the State Cabinet were prominently present.

The oath-taking ceremony began at about one o’clock in the afternoon. First, Ajit Pawar took the oath as Deputy Chief Minister by the Governor, Mr. Koshari. Other members of Uddhav Thackeray’s cabinet are Ashok Chavan, Dilip Walse-Patil, Dhananjay Munde, Vijay Vaddetiwar, Anil Deshmukh, Hassan Mushrif, Prof. Varsha Gaikwad, Dr. Rajendra Shingane, Nawab Malik, Rajesh Tope, Sunil Kedar, Sanjay Rathod, Gulabrao Patil, Amit Deshmukh, Dadaji Bhuse, Jitendra Awhad, Sandipan Bhumre, Balasaheb Patil, Mrs. Yashomati Thakur, Adv Anil Parab, Uday Samant, Adv.K.C. Padvi, Shankar Gadakh, Aslam Shaikh and Aditya Thackeray.

Abdul Sattar, Satej alias Bunty Patil, Shambhuraj Desai, Bacchu Kadu, Dr. Vishwajit Kadam, Dattatray Bharne, Aditi Tatkare, Sanjay Bansode, Prajakt Tanpure, Rajendra Patil Yadrawakar shouldered the responsibility as State Ministers.

The swearing-in ceremony began and end with the national anthem. MP Sharad Pawar, Supriya Sule, family members of newly appointed ministers, representatives of the people, senior officials and party workers were present on the occasion. Chief Secretary Ajay Mehta conducted the ceremony.
