Hey guys, just got to know that BMC in Mahrashtra has allowed the cutting of more than 2700 trees in Aarey Forest for a metro car shed project. This is a huge a loss of biodiversity in India. Not only it’s gonna affect our generation but also the future generations to come. Moreover, it will lead to an increase in pollution levels in Mumbai. Oxygen levels are already depleting and a foreign agency has also confirmed that we have only 3-5 years to change the climate and stop global warming or the situation will be worsen. So now it’s time that we take a step forward and stand to protect our nature. Let’s sign this petition and make the government realize their mistake and stop this deforestation.
In Sunday Morning hundreds of Mumbaikers came together for silent protest against BMC allowance for cutting trees in the Aarey Forest. Their PIL already got rejected in the Bombay High Court. So, it may be the last Green Patch in India. So now it’s time to stand for our nature. Spread the message about this to all your family and friends. We need to stop this deforestation at any cost
